Gifts Planning Resources for Donors, Charities & Allied Professionals

Informative Brochures

Brochures are a key marketing resource in educating your donors to the possibilities and benefits of planned giving. Use them to respond to inquiries, include with mailings, distribute at events. Each of the eight gift-specific brochures describes and illustrates a particular giving technique, and may be formatted to fit on two sides of an 8.5 x 11" sheet, either full-page or in a 3-panel folded layout. You may choose either the clear, straight-forward text version or the informal, reader-friendly question & answer version.

Bonus Note: Selected copy from gift-specific brochures purchased from PlanGiv may also be adapted for newsletter articles at no additional charge! Lengths range from 670 to 900 words. (Once you purchase copy from PlanGiv, you may use it in any way you wish.)

Downloading Guidelines:

Downloading the Reader file may take 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. To install the Reader, simply "double-click" on the downloaded file. The installation of the Reader is automatic and takes less than 2 minutes.

If you already have a web browser installed on your computer (MS Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator), the reader will be installed both as a stand-alone utility and as a plug-in for your web browser; otherwise, the plug-in will not be installed.

After you install the Reader, "double-click" on the PDF preview file icon, and it will immediately open either in your web browser (using the Acrobat plug-in) or in the Acrobat Reader utility software.

Some earlier versions of browsers and e-mail programs require you to save (or "download") the attached file first before you will be able to open it. To do this, you usually use your secondary mouse button (right mouse button on the PC, click and hold on the Mac) to click on the icon, and then choose the option ''Save Link As...'' or ''Save Attachment." After you save the file, double-clicking on it should open it in the Acrobat Reader or your Web browser. In some cases, you may have to start the Acrobat Reader first and open the file from there.
